You know Fish is a bit of a history freak. Inclined to long drives to nowhere in particular. Desolate, quiet, places that let him stretch his long farm-boy roots into the middle of the earth. I suspect he is looking for a place for a shallow grave in which to bury me. But I digress...
So Saturday, we did a road trip to Danger and Jukebox Caves in western Utah. A couple of archeologists from the State Historical Society led the trip. AND a guy who knows every little morsel of history about the heydays of the Wendover airbase during WWII. Fish was happy as a pig in mud. I did my best to accumulate good sport points.
